What do you do when you want to sell your house because the payment is too high but your spouse does not agree

I am wondering how to settle this without creating a legal battle. Is there a civilized solution to this problem? What do you do when you want to sell your house because the payment is too high but your spouse does not agree
File for divorce, sell the house, by a harley, live freeWhat do you do when you want to sell your house because the payment is too high but your spouse does not agree
Do you both own the house? If so, then you both have to agree to sell it or keep it. One can't force the other to do something she doesn't want to.
Ask her if she wants to take over the payments or she wants the house to go into foreclosure.
HIT HIM WHERE IT HURTS A MAN THE MOST, IN THE STOMACH....TONIGHTS DINNER IS A BOWL OF HOT WATER AND A BOTTLE OF CATCHUP (TOMATO SOUP)

AND A GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH W/O THE CHEESE....THATS ALL WE CAN AFFORD.....FOR TOMORROWS SUPPER TRY SERVING , BONELESS CHICKEN BREAST ( 1 HARD BOILLED EGG) ON PASTA

WITH MORE CATCHUP....
brotha the house is the least of your worries
a legal battle between you and your wife ?!?! You cannot sue your wife and she cannot sue you.

Explain that you will LOSE the house in the end if you cannot afford the mortgage payment.
try looking into a refinance that puts all you other bills into one payment. like... car payment and credit cards and other debts you have... sometimes that can really help
If both names are on the deed, you need both to sign off. The only way to force a sale is to file for partition -- a very costly and lengthy legal battle resulting in the house being auction n the courthouse steps.
are you in US? The housing market is bad right now. You might sell at a loss/
You have to get your spouse to see reason and get on board the ship together or it will sink altogether.
