Is there anyway for a spouse of someone in the Marines to fly military?

I am not the person. I am trying to find this out for a friend. So if you have any information on how and give me the links... that would be amazing. If not, if was worth a try.Is there anyway for a spouse of someone in the Marines to fly military?
Any dependant with an ID card can fly space available on AMC or Navy airlift.

The Marine should know that.Is there anyway for a spouse of someone in the Marines to fly military?
Yes the Air Force has a program called Space Available (Space A). There's flights that we refer to as rotators. Rotators are flights that take place almost on a regular weekly schedule and are contracted to an airline. You'll get the same service you would on a civilian flight. If you need to go to Europe BWI is the best place to fly out of. The other option is to fly a cargo plane which you'll need to pack a lunch and anything else you'll want on a flight. If you live on the east or west coast your pretty much guaranteed to catch a flight. There's a possibility you won't catch a flight back though and will have to buy an airline ticket. I've flown several times and have never been stranded. Some tips: Pack light, be patient and have a flexible schedule. Contact a local Air Force Base and ask for the Terminal. There are also AMC terminals in several air ports and you'll find the phone number on the air ports website. Hope this helps.
